The 2016 Nissan LEAF SV is exactly like it's 2013 predecessor except for one cruciial thing: it has a 30 kWh battery pack instead of a 24 kWh battery pack, thus upping its range from 85 miles per charge to between 107 - 112. (And 119 on good days, as seen in photo)
Any "range anxiety" was only if I decided there was range anxiety, and I decided there wasn't.
With the 2013 LEAF SV, it was eleven charging stops between Seattle and Ashland, OR on the DC 440-volt fast charging network. No problem!
But I admit to being excited that now, with the increased 112 range on the 2016, that the same trip will be cut down to 7-8 charging stops.
